Kazukoba Visits O'ahu in 2014 (Lanikai)

I went to Hawaii from 26th June to 1st July.

I knew I love seeing blue sky over the ocean, the trade dry winds from the northeast and palm trees swaying in the breeze.

This time, I'd like to write 5 themes separately.

First of all,  Let me talk about "Lanikai"

Lanikai Beach was voted America's No.1 beach for its emerald green waters

and white sandy beach.

Lanikai means heaven(Lani) and sea(Kai).

This beach doesn't have parking or showers.

But, if you go to Lanikai beach, you can see the beach from the foot paths.

You can also see offshore two islands, these are called "Molalua Islands".

This is a perfect place for a picture against a background of blue skies.

I have a friend who lives by Lanikai beach.

Her house is a great house, what is even more impressive sight to see is from her lanai on the second floor.

Oh I'm jealous of her !!

From here, I can see a long surf board on the ground, sure.

I walked around Lanikai enjoying the late afternoon light after visiting my friend.

I found a bougainvillea getting sunlight, I could see these slanting shadow bars extending on to the lawns.

I found this KAWAII style post box in the neighborhood, too.
